Coca-Cola Enterprises constantly evaluates useage of their real estate properties with a goal for maximum efficiency. Approximately every 3-5 years, CCE conducts programming and feasibility studies that lead it implementing a real estate “re-stack” project. In 2007, programming was executed for a 16-floor, 281,418 SF corporate headquarters facility which documented a current headcount of approximately 900 employees, prioritized spatial adjacencies and preferences based on corporate culture. Results include expansion to three additional floors within the same building to accommodate growth and unify departments that had been dispersed over time. This project informed future re-stack projects for two other buildings totaling 32 floors of space.
